It seems that the Golden State Warriors realized the importance of David Lee in terms of his capability in rebounding and scoring inside the paint, that’s why the 2015 NBA champs trade their new acquisition to a newly moved player in Philadelphia.
Gerald Wallace who recently traded to Warriors for David Lee again on the move and headed to Philadelphia for big man Jason Thompson. Both players started their career in Sacramento but Wallace found his rhythm when he was playing in Charlotte and eventually became an All Star. Thompson logged 6.1 points and 6.5 rebounds with seven double-doubles last season.
Warriors general manager Bob Myers says Thompson “adds considerably to our team’s depth, which was a big key to our success last season and will be moving forward.”
