Fun facts from the card: The NBA dream, the one he had mapped out since the age of 5, was doomed. At least that’s what Hayward figured when he stood 5 feet. 11 inches tall as a prep freshman. Assuming he’d never be tall to play in college, he almost quit hoops to focus on tennis. A few years later, he’s a 6-8 Jazz forward.
