Andray Blatche got hurt when Philippines played against team Japan in the ongoing FIBA Asia 2015 but Gilas Pilipinas didn’t slow down as they closed out the game 66-73.

Calvin “the Beast” Abueva continue where he left off after Philippines beat Kuwait as he stayed agressive throught the game. There was an instance that he even battled for a defensive rebound with his teammate just to secure a position, Abueva logged 10 points and 6 rebounds while Andray Blatche registered a double-double perforamce with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

The Japanese led by Makoto Hiejima who tallied 17 points while former NBA player Yuta Tabuse finished with only with 4 points.
