Nicolas Batum had 24 points and 8 assists when Charlotte Hornets beats Brooklyn Nets 116 – 111. Batum had a poor shooting night in Hornets‘ previous game where he only converted 1 field goal out of 9 attempts.
This time he was hot as he shot 7-of-12 from the field and converted all seven free-throws.
“I tried to score and I tried to get my teammates involved and everything seemed to work better than (Tuesday) night,” Batum said.
Thaddeus Young the hero of the Nets in their previous game against the Hawks scored 27 points while Brook Lopez chipped in 23 points.
“It could be a little fatigue, but there are no excuses for missed opportunities,” Young said of the Nets’ miscues. “We had every chance to win that game and it slipped by us.”
