The Golden State Warriors has just surpassed the best record in the NBA for starting a season. They have earned that elusive 16-0 record against the Los Angeles Lakers.
It was a game of the league’s best and the league’s worst and surely the odds are in favor with the Warriors. The feat (15-0) that was achieved by 1993-94 Houston Rockets and 1948-49 Washington Capitols is now locked in the history books and will now be called as the second best.
“It’s a special accomplishment any time you can do something that hasn’t been done before,” Curry said. “It’s not going to be total dominance for 82 games.”
