Fun facts from the card: Bird made an immediate impact on the Celtics team that drafted him in 1978 as he led Boston to a league-best 61-21 record over the course of the 1979-80 season just one year after the team posted a record of 29-53. The sharpshooting forward twice was named MVP of the NBA Finals, and he grabbed three regular-season MVP awards in his storied career. Bird was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1998.
