Just a night ago after a huge victory against the Los Angeles Lakers 108-87, the Portland Trail Blazers return back in their home floor to face the 2016 NBA World Champion, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum combined a total of 45 points to give the Lakers its 10th straight loss against the Trail Blazers. Al-Farouq Aminu the seven year forward was a monster in the boards. He contributed 15 rebounds and 3 blocks along with his 8 points. Portland will look for that same effort against the bigs of Cleveland.
The Cavs are in to back-to-back road games. Their previous one was against the Utah Jazz where they lost 100-92.
Kyle Korver made his game debut for Cleveland but appear that he’s still adjusting with his teammates. In one of the interviews, LeBron James told Korver that if he got the ball just shoot it. A tip from the King in order for him to blend with the Cavs offensive strategy.
LeBron James scored 29 points while Kyrie Irving chipped in with 20 points against the Jazz. Kevin Love was only held to 12 points.
