Below is the game highlights between the Oklahoma City Thunder versus Chicago Bulls which was played last January 9, 2017.

Two of the NBA’s elite guards are scheduled to go head-to-head with each other for the first time this 2016-17 NBA season. Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook and Chicago Bulls’ Jimmy Butler are among the few players in the league who are contenders for MVP award.

OKC is currently struggling playing away from their home-floor, they have registered three straight losses. Luckily, they had shook away that losing trend when they dumped Denver Nuggets a couple of nights ago 121-106. Russell Westbrook led the pack and the entire team shoots 58 percent inside the three-point territory.

Westbrook registered another triple-double for the season, he scored 32 points 17 rebounds and 11 assists which made it a total of 17. Steven Adams was also magnificent against the Nuggets where he added 16 points and six rebounds.

The Bulls are currently at the ninth spot of the NBA standings which means they need to push harder in order for them to qualify in the play-offs (although the season is still early). Good thing, Chicago is one of the hot teams right now as they made three-straight victories.

Their previous game was against the East number two team, the Toronto Raptors where they won the game in OT. The key for winning that game was to control the boards. Chicago out-rebounded Toronto 60-41 and resulted to several second chance points.

Jimmy Butler scored 42 points 10 rebounds and 5 assists while Dwyane Wade chipped in with his 20 points 4 rebounds and 7 assists against the Raptors.
