It’s not really a buzzer beating shot like those of Michael Jordan nor Kobe Bryant but Kevin Durant’s version left many Cavs fans into tears.
One of the reasons why the Golden State Warriors is successful but most of all became unstoppable since the regular season until this playoffs is the player who wears jersey number 35.
The 2014 NBA Most Valuable Player wanted everyone to know especially to the Cavs nation that his addition to the Warriors is really an upgrade and he’s not a mere bandwagoner.
With less than 50 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Cleveland was still up 113-111. It’s Golden State Warriors position off from a Cavs missed shot.
The man who is also known as KD probably thinking of a quick two or a three-pointer. He then saw LeBron James holds his ground a step away inside the rainbow territory.
Without hesitation, Durant pulls up a long bomb and it went directly to the bottom of the net which gave his team a one point advantage.
That shot stunnned all of the Cavs fans inside the arena and those who are watching at their television sets. The Cavalies are itching to get a win to prevent a commanding 0-3 lead but the unfortunate situation had already put into reality.
“All I was looking at was the bottom of the net,” Durant said of his 3-pointer over LeBron James. “I’ve been working on that shot my whole life. For that one to go in was liberating.”
