The new look Cleveland Cavaliers continue to roll as they beat a home team when they visited the Oklahoma City Thunder.
With LeBron James leading the way, the addition of their newly acquired players from LA Lakers, Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz resulted to a re-energized Cavs squad which was missing in their first half campaign this 2017-18 NBA season.
LeBron James finished the game another triple-double teaser with his 37 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists during his 40 minutes of playing time. With the arrival of Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr., Rodney Hood and George Hill to Cleveland camp resulted to a two-game winning streak.
Overall, Cleveland won four games in a row where three of those are away from their home-court. Coach Tyronne Lue now improves to 30-0 when his Cavs are leading at the end of the third quarter.
“I think Koby did a heck of a job of understanding what our team needed,” James said. “It just wasn’t working out for us and he felt like, obviously you guys saw his quotes, he made the changes that he felt best fits our team. Then it’s on me to make sure the new guys that come in, I make sure they fit in and make it as seamless as possible.”
The latest player additions had a 48-point combined points. Jordan Clarkson serves as the fireman for the Cavs whenever Oklahoma threaten to make a comeback while Larry Nance Jr. is very active on chasing dead-ball then turn garbage into gold.
Paul George leads the Thunder with his 25 points while Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook added 24 points and 21 points respectively. Both Westbrook and Anthony just came back in action after they have suffered an injury.
