The Cleveland Cavaliers found another success playing away from their home floor as they beat the Denver Nuggets, 113-108.

The Nuggets chase for qualifying for the playoffs was again in peril after they surrendered to the visiting Cavaliers. Denver is now at the ninth spot in the Western Conference standings but not far away from the Los Angeles Clippers which owns the eighth slot.

It was another triple-double teaser from LeBron James as he dropped 39 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds. James seems can’t miss from the field as he converted off-balanced shot after shot.

The Cavs dominated the first three quarters of the ball-game as their lead ballooned as much as 16 points. However, the home team made its surging comeback in the fourth quarter as the Nuggets took the lead after Mason Plumlee converted his driving layup.

In the next positions, the Cavs took back the driver seat as LeBron James tapped the loose ball to an open Jeff Green. Green made a three-pointer and that was the dagger for Denver.

Larry Nance Jr. still in the first five of coach Tyronne Lue as both Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love still sidelined due to their respective injuries. Nance Jr. registered 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Nikola Jokic led his team Denver team with a monster performance. The Serbian big-man logged 36 points and 13 rebounds while Paul Millsap added 12 points and 5 rebounds.

“He’s our best player and we need him to step up in these last 18 games,” Nuggets coach Jeff Malone said.
