Klay Thompson Sets A New NBA Record With 14 3-Pointers In A Game

A whooping 14 3-pointers were unleashed by Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson when his team visited the Chicago Bulls and took home the victory, 149-124.

The Dubs All-Star only needed 27 minutes to reach 52 points as he uses his long range weapon and converted 14 out of his 24 attempts.

The crowd inside the arena gave their appreciation to Thompson by giving him a loud ovation after he reached another milestone in his career and that’s the 14 three-pointers in a game.

Thompson just overtook his teammate Stephen Curry who previously got the record of thirteen three-pointers in a single game.

To make it more dramatic, Thompson sealed that new record despite of having a cut on his head due to the collision with his fellow Warriors whose playing at the center position, Damian Jones.

Thompson was then given a headband to protect his wound which according to reports, it needed two stitches.
