More than a year ago, Boston Celtics superstar guard Kyrie Irving made a statement saying that the Earth is flat.
After that, Irving was constantly asked about his belief which is scientifically not proven.
Last month, Kyrie clarified that he was not serious when he commented about his flat-earth theory but to many who have read and heard it they started to think twice. To them they think that Irving really believe that earth was really flat.
The former partner of LebBron James in Cleveland made a public statement and apologized for his earlier comment with regards to his theory.
According to Kyrie he was a fan of conspiracy theories at the time during his talk at the Forbes Under 30 Summit. Although he didn’t say that the earth isn’t flat but it appears that Irving has conceded.

“What you say, what you do, and how you mean it — at the time, I was huge into conspiracies. Everybody’s been there. Everybody’s been there like, ‘Whoa! What’s going on with our world?!” … At the time, you’re like innocent in it, but you realize the effect of the power of voice. Even if you believe in that, just don’t come out and say that stuff — it’s for intimate conversations because perception while you’re received changes. I’m actually a smart-ass individual … At the time, I just didn’t realize the effect … I’m sorry about all that.”
