Dallas Mavericks rookie sensation Luka Doncic led his team in scoring as they disposed the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder, 105-103.

Doncic scored 25 points and dished out seven assists who appeared to be sharp either from inside or from outside the three-point arc.

He was backed up by Harrison Barnes who logged 16 points while DeAndre Jordan chipped in with 12 points.

With 1:22 left in the fourth quarter, OKC was still leading by four points but that was the last time their team was ahead.

In the 24.8 mark, Dennis Smith Jr. got loose from his defender and was able to convert a driving lay-up where Mavs took the lead, 104-103.

In the next ball possession of Thunder, Paul George missed his 19-footer step back jump-shot and the rebound went straight to the hands of DeAndre Jordan.

OKC immediately fouled him in order to send the 6-foot-11 to the free-throw line which is his one of his worst enemies in the basketball floor.

Jordan splits his free-throws and the visiting team still had an opportunity to send the game to overtime or win it with a three-pointer.

OKC called a timeout and designed a play but it wasn’t executed properly. With only 1.7 seconds left in the game, Westbrook had no choice but to throw the ball and missed the game-winner.

Paul George led all scorers with his 36 points while Westbrook was only limited to just nine points.
