Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward LeBron James left the game in the third quarter because of an injury but his teammates finished where he left off and beat the Golden State Warriors in Oakland, 127-101.

The Lakers vs the Warriors is the most anticipated game in this NBA’s Christmas day special match. With LeBron on the Lakers squad playing, he helped his team to mount a 15-point lead as they went to halftime.

Then on the third, LeBron went down the floor as he felt something popped in his leg.

“With injuries, I’m never too concerned with them,” James said. “I was able to walk off on my own power. I felt a pop and see if I could stretch it a few times to see if it would relieve but it didn’t.”

LeBron pulled out from the game and it’s time for what many called Lakers “supporting cast” to shine and they didn’t failed their fans. James registered 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Veteran guard Rajon Rando kept the Los Angeles team offense and defense stable as they able to survive the surge of the home-team in the third quarter.

Rondo logged 15 points and 10 assists while Croatian center Ivica Zubac chipped in 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Golden State Warriors sixth man Andre Iguodala led his team in scoring with 23 points while Kevin Durant added 21 markers. The “Splash Brothers” were having an off-night as both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson made a 20 points combined effort.
