Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward registered his season-high of 30 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
It seems that the words of Kyrie Irving asking Hayward to be more aggressive in scoring has produced good results. Not only to his personal stats but as well as to his team.
Apart from his explosive scoring, Hayward also had nine rebounds and eight assists. The entire Celtics team was red hot as five of its players were in double-digit in scoring.
Also, a day ago, Hayward’s former teammate in Utah Jazz Alec Burks has seen improvement in the one-time All-Star’s game.
“That’s my guy,” Burks said after Boston’s 128-95 win. “I’ve got nothing but love. It takes time to get back to the level he was at. He was a damn-near superstar. He’ll get there.”
Kyrie Irving added 21 points in that Celtics victory against the Wolves while Jayson Tatum chipped in with 19 points.
