Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkić suffers a gruesome leg injury during an intense battle with the Brooklyn Nets.
Nurkić was seen battling for an offensive rebound against Nets players DeMarre Carroll and Jared Dudley.
He landed awkwardly and was seen that his left leg snapped when it landed to the floor.
It was on the second overtime when that incident occurred as his team fighting for a playoff spot in the Western Conference.
The Bosnian player was pulled out from the basketball court through a stretcher.
“It’s kind of discouraging to see that … but now we gotta lean on each other even more,” Lillard said.
Portland will now face its reality that they’ll be playing the rest of the season including the playoffs without the service of their big man who is having a magnificent performance this 2018-19 season.
Nurkić was playing well before that injury. He helped his team by scoring 32 points and 16 rebounds along with 5 assists.
