The Milwaukee Bucks has advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals after they eliminated the Boston Celtics in Game Five of their semi-final series, 116-91.
Giannis Antetokounmpo flirted a triple-double performance with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists to lead his squad.
Nikola Mirotic sparked the Bucks first quarter with his long-range shooting and finished with 10 points and was superb in cleaning the boards with his 11 rebounds.
George Hill continued to be a headache for the Celtics and dropped another double-figure in scoring with 16 points.
The last time the Bucks reached the Eastern Conference Finals was back in 2001 NBA Playoffs during the Ray Allen and Glenn Robinson era.
Kyrie Irving led the Celtics in scoring with 15 points but he was having a poor shooting night with 6-of-21 from the field.
Jayson Tatum added 14 points while Jaylen Brown chipped in with 12 markers. Brown and Tatum were the Celtics main-men during their last year’s campaign when Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward got sidelined due to their respective injuries.
The Bucks will wait for the winner between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors.
