Houston Rockets superstar player James Harden is set to visit Manila this coming June 26 for an Adidas Philippines event.
The 2018 NBA Most Valuable Player will lead the “Free To Harden Freestyle Hub” event where his Filipino fans will get up-close and personal as he talk more about himself and how he was able to establish himself as one of the best scorers in the league.
Harden was part of the Oklahoma City Thunder during 2012 NBA Finals. He left OKC and joined the Houston Rockets back in 2012-13 NBA season.
He led the Rockets to a playoffs appearance several times and in the 2018 NBA post-season tournament, he was able to carry his squad to the Western Conference Finals.
This will be the third time that Harden will visit the Philippines. First time was in 2011 where joined the Kobe Bryant-led assembled squad and played against the Philippines best basketball players.
Then on 2013 he came back to be part of the NBA Preseason game between the Indiana Pacers and the Houston Rockets in the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
“We’re excited to bring back James Harden to Manila— this time for adidas— in this great opportunity for him to meet and get to know his Filipino fans better,” said Jen Dacasin, adidas Philippines Brand Communications and Sports Marketing Manager.
To receive a free ticket for the upcoming event, a fan should have a single reciept worth 5,000 pesos from an adidas participating store.
