The roster for Team USA that will see action in China for the 2019 FIBA World Cup has officially announced.
Four players from the Boston Celtics made to the final cut and these are Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Kemba Walker.
Tatum’s fellow third-year player Donovan Mitchell also in the lineup who is one of the expected players who will electrify the Greg Popovich coached squad.
Brook Lopez, Mason Plumlee, and Myles Turner will be the team’s big-man. Lopez has proven that despite his size he is still capable of knocking down from the three-point area as well as Turner.
Plumlee, on the other hand, will be returning to the red-white-and-blue squad. The last time he played on the national team was during the 2014 FIBA World Cup where they took home the gold medal.
