The 2019 FIBA World Cup will commence its quarterfinals round and right-off the bat it’s the battle between the Serbians and the Argentinians.
Team Serbia dealt its first defeat against another European powerhouse team Spain last September 8 at the Wuhan Gymnasium, Wuhan.
Not only that, they were beaten with a double-digit margin, 69-81.
Bogdan Bogdanovic scored a game-high of 26 points, however, he’s the only Serbian player from the roster who reached double-digits in scoring.
For team Argentina on the other hand, they remained undefeated after the first two phases of the competition.
Their last victory was against team Poland, 91-65.
