The Team Serbia is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Team Czech Republic at 8:00 P.M. on September 14, 2019 live from the Wukesong Arena, Beijing, China.
Both the Serbians and the Czech squad will try to make a graceful exit from the 2019 FIBA World Cup as tonight’s match will give the winner a reward as the number 5th best basketball club in the tournament.
Team Serbia fell short to the expectation of many basketball experts where they predicted that this is their year to win the gold medal in the FIBA World Cup.
Though they’re not able to snag the ultimate prize of the competition at least they were able to defeat their Finals round tormentor for several years, the Team USA in the Classification phase (5-8).
Bogdan Bogdanovic displayed how lethal his outside shooting in that match where he made seven three-pointers and ended up with a game-high 28 points. Vladimir Lucic added 15 points in that victory.
For team Czech Republic, on the other hand, they pounded team Poland in their last timeout, 94-84.
They were spectacular in the final period where they outscored their 30-21 to make sure that they’ll have the rights to play Serbia in Classification round (5-6).
Vojtech Hruban led the Czechs in scoring with 24 points while Tomas Satoransky added 22 points.
