Boston Celtics all-star forward Gordon Hayward exits the game after he received a hard blow on his head during their match versus the Indiana Pacers.
It was an intense battle between the Celtics and the Pacers in the fourth quarter.
Gordon Hayward tried to penetrate the paint while challenging the defense of Indiana’s Doug McDermott.
As he tried to break-free, Hayward’s defender accidentally hit him in his face.
Gordon left the game and didn’t return. Though Kemba Walker tried to carry his team by logging 44 points but not enough to topple the home team.
According to Celtics head coach Brad Stevens, Hayward has no concussion-like symptoms based on Pacers’ physician.
“I’m sure when we land then we’ll have our own procedure he’ll go through,” Stevens added.
