Houston Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni is to be blamed why the refs weren’t able to count the dunk made by James Harden during their game versus the San Antonio Spurs last Wednesday (PHI time).
According to NBA Crew Chief James Caper, after they reviewed the video the refs say it is a successful field goal since that ball indeed passes through the basketball net. The only problem is that D’Antoni failed to challenge the call withing the 30 seconds window.
That match went to a double-overtime and eventually, the victory went to the Spurs which could be decided earlier when that controversial dunk of Harden at the 7:47 mark in the final quarter was counted.
The Rockets are hoping that league will change its decision of the final outcome by either give them the “W” or let both squads play 7:50 of the contest.
Yet, for Capers, Houston should accept the defeat as there will no change in the ruling.
