Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward was seen that he switched to another type of shoes when he entered the second half of their match versus the Los Angeles Clippers.
Hayward suited up wearing his latest Anta Shoes having a new design which according to an Instagram post of Robyn Hayward (Wife of Gordon) got the inspiration from their kids’ artwork where they draw on Gordon’s hand cast.
Yet, the 6-foot-8 swingman unable to find his shooting touch in the first as he shoots 1-of-9.
In the second half, Hayward went back to his usual Anta kicks with its team’s standard color of green with some black.
Immediately he scored five straight points, one three-pointer and two points from the free-throw line.
Yet, Hayward’s best plays were in the second overtime where he made seven points to help his team secure the victory. Likewise, he made two defensive plays against Lou Williams where he made a block and a swipe.
Hayward finished the game having 21 points and 13 rebounds. It is his 5th 20-point and a 30-point performance in a season and his new career-high.
