Gordon Hayward Kept Celtics Under Control While Tatum And Brown On The Bench Against The Nets

The Boston Celtics crushed the Brooklyn Nets, 149-115.


Gordon Hayward kept the Celtics in the first-half on pace while his star teammates held on the sidelines.

Kemba Walker who is not in his uniform watching from the bench while Jayson Tatum was on a foul trouble situation after committing his third foul as the first quarter approaching to an end.

Jaylen Brown was also called to go back to Boston’s bench to take a breather.

The former Butler Bulldogs led the Celtics offense as his squad starting to pile their lead.

Brad Wanamaker was also instrumental in that first-half run as he dropped a total of 13 points from the bench.

In the third quarter, Tatum was still fresh considering the amount of time he stayed on their bench exploded with 14 points in that period alone. He finished with 19 points.

Boston never looked back and boosted their offense with twenty three-pointers and registered their highest points total in a game this season.

Second-year man Robert Williams logged his career-high in scoring with 18 points and was perfect from the field with 7-of-7.

Jeremiah Martin was the scoring leader of the Nets as he finished with 20 points while teammate Dzanan Musa and Caris LeVert each had 13 markers.
