Here are the highlights of the match between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Portland Trail Blazers which was scheduled on August 21, 2020 (Local Time).

After an upset in Game 1, the Los Angeles Lakers defeats and dominates the Trail Blazers in Game 2. Also, they got their first playoff win since 2012.

“The King” did not play for a high scoring game in Game 2. Instead, he played as a facilitator for Anthony Davis and other key players so that they can get their game going.

LeBron James nearly finished the game with another triple-double performance. He scored 10 points, dished out 7 assists and grabbed 6 rebounds in 27 minutes of action in Game 2.

Anthony Davis went crazy in this game as he puts up 31 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. He also went 3 of 4 from the three-point arc. Not only that, he also scored 21 points in the first half, 16 of those were from the paint.

After a terrible game in Game 1, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, also known as “KCP”, steps up in Game 2 as he scored 16 big points and went 4 out of 6 beyond the three-point line in only 22 minutes of action.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers played horrible throughout the game. From the first quarter to the third quarter, they only scored 58 points.

There is no Tail Blazer in Game 2 who scored above 20 points. Damian Lillard, who activated “Dame Time” in Game 1, didn’t get his groove in this game as he only scored 18 points and marked just 1 three-point shot in his 7 attempts.

CJ McCollum also didn’t play well. He scored 13 points and also like Lillard, he only drained 1 three-pointer throughout the game.

The veteran Carmelo Anthony, who puts up a dagger three-pointer in Game 1, only scored 2 points in Game 2 and went 1 out of 6 in the field.

The series will resume on Sunday at 8:30 AM for Game 3.
