Here are the highlights of the Game 1 Eastern Conference Finals match between the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat which was scheduled on September 16, 2020 (Local Time).


The Miami Heat proves to the Boston Celtics that they are not underdogs as they defeat them in overtime in Game 1.

At the end of the first quarter, the Celtics find themselves up by as much as 8 points. But, the Miami Heat breaks loose at the gates of the second quarter and started to gradually shrink the lead. Eventually, they grabbed their first lead off of a Jimmy Butler shot.

The Miami Heat’s answer for this game is obviously “Jimmy Buckets”. He has been a big factor for the Heat’s offense and defense. He hit a big three-point shot in the last minutes of the fourth quarter to give his team a 1-point lead. Not only that, but he also sealed the game in overtime as he scored an and-1 against Jayson Tatum and also drained the free-throw to give his team a 2-point advantage at 116-114. He ended the game with 20 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out 5 assists.

The rookie, who came off from the bench this game, despite just scoring 12 points, Tyler Herro almost finished the game with a triple-double but finished the game with a double-double. He made big shots at the end of the game as he scored 12 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and dimed 9 assists in 40 minutes of action.

The former Celtic, Jae Crowder played very well this game as he scored 22 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and also hit 5 three-point shots.

At the other end of the floor, the Boston Celtics loses to the Miami Heat in overtime. Their leading scorer, Jayson Tatum, scored 30 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, and also hit 4 three-pointers this game.

Marcus Smart played well this game as he scored 26 points and drained 6 three-pointers.
