Here are the highlights of the Game 2 Eastern Conference Semi-Finals match between the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks which was scheduled on September 3, 2020 (Local Time).
The Heat continues to surprise the Eastern Conference number one seeded team as they took Game 2 and now ahead in their series 2-0.
It was a dramatic finish for both squads where Miami almost wasted their six points advantage with only 19.8 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
The Bucks mounted a comeback courtesy of Giannis Antetokounmpo slam dunk, a choking trap from Milwaukee which ended to a Brook Lopez two-points, and the clutch three free-throws from Kris Middleton where they tied the score to 114-all.
Yet, the Heat got the last laugh as Antetokounmpo got whistled for a foul as he contests the jump shot of Jimmy Butler as time expires.
Jimmy Butler Made Buckets From The Stripe
Butler went to the charity stripes where he easily sank his free-throws and gave his squad a two-point lead and most importantly another victory in their Eastern Conference semis campaign.
Miami’s balanced scoring and their expertise to contain the NBA MVP, Antetokounmpo were their tools to log their second victory in the series. Goran Dragic led the Heat with his 23 points while rookie Tyler Herro added 17 markers.
Miami had seven players who scored at least 11 points in their Game 2 win.
For the Bucks, a major adjustment needed to make to avoid the 0-3 hole.
Though the Heat’s defense is focused on the “Greek Freak” yet he was able to manage to deliver 29 points and 14 rebounds.
Game 3 of the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks is scheduled on September 5, 2020 at 6:30 AM (PHI time).
