Here are the highlights of the Game 4 NBA of the NBA Finals match between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat which was scheduled on October 7, 2020 (Local Time).
The Los Angeles Lakers is now on the driver’s seat as they defeat the Miami Heat in Game 4, taking a 3-1 lead.
Despite the slow start by “The King” in the first half, LeBron James dominated in the second half and finsiehd the game with a near triple-double performance. He marked 28 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out 8 assists. In addition to his game, he also made 2 three-point shots and hit 10 of his 12 attempts from the foul-line.
“I felt that vibe. I felt that pressure,” James shared. “I felt like, for me personally, this was one of the biggest games of my career.” James added.
With 39.5 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Anthony Davis, the sensational center of the Lakers, hits a dagger three-point shot to seal the game. At the end of regulation, he scored 22 points and grabbed 4 blocks, one of those 4 blocks came from a lay-up from Butler, further securing up the game. Also, he is also 1 rebound away from performing a double-double performance.
“Big-time play. Big-time moment,” James talking about the three-point shot Davis made to seal the game.
Caldwell-Pope played big-time here in Game 4. He finished the game with 15 points and hit 3 three-point shots. He also hit back-to-back shots late in the fourth quarter to further widen up the lead.
Meanwhile, the Miami Heat’s superstar, Jimmy Butler played for 43 minutes and scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He also dimed 9 assists.
Tyler Herro played very well in this game, he scored 21 points and hit 3 three-point shots, he just hit tough shots throughout the game.
Bam Adebayo played like he just did not have an injury. He scored 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 33 minutes.
“I just loved seeing our guys compete. I love how they respond in between those four lines,” Head coach of the Miami heat said.
The series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat will resume on Saturday at 9:00 AM for Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
