PBA: San Miguel’s CJ Perez To Receive PBA Press Corps’ Scoring Champion Award This March 7

CJ Perez of San Miguel will be awarded the Scoring Champion award at the PBA Press Corps virtual Awards Night on March 7, which will be aired via TV5 Media Center.

The 27-year-old NCAA MVP from the Lyceum Pirates averaged 24.4 points in the past 2020 PBA Philippine Cup while playing for Terrafirma.

This is the second consecutive time Perez has been named Scoring Champion in the one-hour program presented by Cignal TV and will air on the PBA Rush on March 8.

Meanwhile, Meralco Bolts’ Aaron Black was included in the All-Rookie Team after helping the Bolts enter the Philippine Cup semifinals for the first time in their franchise history.

As a result, he was recognized as the Outstanding Rookie of the PBA bubble season.

Aside from Black, the other All-Rookie squads are Arvin Tolentino of Barangay Ginebra, Roosevelt Adams of Terrafirma, Barkley Ebona of Alaska and Renzo Subido of NorthPort.
