Terry Rozier may struggle almost in the entire ball-game yet was able to bounce big time in the decisive quarter where he dropped 12 of last Charlotte’s 15 points. The other three-points were contributed by PJ Washington.
From four-point play to a difficult contested floater, those were the offensive moves displayed by “Scary Terry” to bring his squad to a comfortable lead.
Washington led Charlotte with his 20 points and nine boards while Gordon Hayward added 17 points for the victorious team.
For the Pistons side, their leading scorer was Jerami Grant with his 32 points and eight boards. Now that Blake Griffin already left Detroit, Grant’s role with their team will be more significant. Saddiq Bey added 14 points where most of his points came in the first half and unable to contribute in the third and final quarters.
The next game for Charlotte is on against the Toronto Raptors while Detroit will face the surging Brooklyn Nets, both games are scheduled this coming Sunday
