Here are the scores, updates, and results of the NBA 2020-2021 regular season match between the Charlotte Hornets (CHA) and the Washington Wizards (WAS) on March 31, 2021 (All times are in Philippine Standard Time) at Capital One Arena.

The former-Celtics had a wonderful game against the Washington Wizards in today’s game.

Terry Rozier, the speedy Hornet, scored 27 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and dimed 4 assists while shooting 10-20 on his shots in 39 minutes of action for the Charlotte Hornets.

Gordon Hayward, just like his teammate Rozier, also played for 39 points and finished the game with a double-double. He tallied 26 points while grabbing 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Russell Westbrook of the Washington Wizards is still maintaining his versatility within the court. He recorded his 17th triple-double of the season and his third straight, scoring 22 points, 15 dimes, and 15 huge rebounds.

Rui Hachimura also had a great game. He tied his career-high in scoring with 30 points.

“They do a really good job of moving the ball,” Lopez, the big man of the Wizards shared. “In transition, getting open 3’s. I thought we did a better job of guarding them in the second half, but it’s tough when they’re hitting 3’s. We definitely could have been more locked in. I think we all agree there.”

According to the head coach of the Hornets, they were able to pull off the win against the Wizards due to their swarming defense.

“We did it with our defense,” James Borrego said. “I think we disrupted them fairly well on the defensive end.”

The Hornets improve to 24-22 while the Wizards fall to 17-29.
