As the top shot blocker of the previous 2020 PBA Philippine Cup in Clark bubble, Phoenix big man Justine Chua was named the Top Bubble D-Fender of the PBA Press Corps at the virtual Awards Night.

The former Ateneo Blue Eagles center in the UAAP posted an average of 1.6 per game for the Fuel Masters campaign.
Chua is also part of the All-Bubble D-Fenders unit comprising Christian Standhardinger (NorthPort Batang Pier), Calvin Abueva and Mark Barroca (Magnolia Hotshots) and Chris Ross (San Miguel).
They will be honoured at the PBAPC virtual Awards Night set for March 7 from TV5 Media Center presented by Cignal TV and aired on March 8 at the PBA Rush.
The 31-year-old Chua is the second Fuel Masters player to be given bubble awards from reporters covering a PBA beat after veteran guard RJ Jazul was named Mr. Quality Minutes.
The other trophy to be awarded is the Outstanding Coach of the Bubble, Mr. Executive, President’s Award and a special citation.
Those who will also be receiving awards were the 2019 Baby Dalupan Coach of the Year Leo Austria of San Miguel, Danny Floro Executive of the Year PBA Chairman Ricky Vargas of TNT, Presidential Awardee Vergel Meneses and Defensive Player of the Year Sean Anthony of NorthPort.
