Here are the scores, updates, and results of the NBA 2020-2021 regular season match between the Brooklyn Nets (BKN) vs the Phoenix Suns (PHX) on April 26, 2021 (All times are in Philippine Standard Time) at the Barclays Center.

The Brooklyn Nets drive past the Phoenix Suns and were led by Kyrie Irving. The first pick of the 2011 NBA Draft chipped in 34 points and dimed 12 assists, ending the game with a double-double performance. Additionally, he made 5 out of his 7 three-pointers.

Kevin Durant, who came off from the bench, tallied 33 big points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and had 2 steals. Durant missed 3 Net games prior to this matchup where he played for 28 minutes and shot 12 for 21 from the court.

“It was a good start. Hopefully, I’ll build on this game and keep going,” Durant shared.

Blake Griffin added 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 three-pointers to help secure the win against the Suns.

The Suns held the lead throughout the majority of the first half, but was then outscored in the second half and lost their deficit against the powerful Nets.

Booker scored 36 points and Ayton had 20 points and 13 boards for the squad.

“I thought we started off pretty well, they just continued to make shots,” Booker said about their performance. “I think we had a lot of miscommunications on a lot of our switches and that’s that.”

The veteran point guard, Chris Paul contributed 14 points and 8 assists for the Suns while Craig, the Sun who came out from the bench, scored 20 points and had 14 rebounds in 6-9 shooting.

The Brooklyn Nets improve to 41-20 while the Suns fall down to 42-18.
