“He mixes it up a lot with the big fellas so he might catch an elbow here and there,” Durant said his thoughts about the situation that his teammate experienced. “He took a nice elbow to the face.”
Meanwhile, Zach LaVine exploded with 41 huge points, three rebounds, and six three-pointers made to keep their hopes alive to be included in the play-in tournament.
“Zach did all he could to carry us,” Billy Donovan, the coach of the Bulls said. “We needed that because we just didn’t have a lot of other things going.”
The Bulls need to win their final three games to secure their spot in the Eastern Conference standings to be included in the playoffs.
Coby White scored 16 points after playing for 37 minutes while Vucevic ended the game with 12 points and 12 rebounds, ending the game with a double-double.
The Brooklyn Nets improve to 45-24 while the Bulls fall to 29-40.
