Here are the scores, updates, and results of 2021 Western Conference Finals Game 5 between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Suns which was played on June 29, 2021 (PHI time) at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Clippers season still alive after they forced Game 6 against the Suns and its supportive fans during its Game 5 encounter.

No more “Pandemic P” for Paul George yet instead the basketball aficionados worldwide witnessed another epic performance from George where earned the nickname “Playoff P”. The seven-time All-Star dropped a superb 41 points performance, 30 of that massive offensive surge came in the second half.

Demarcus Cousins who played limited minutes in the series saw his time on the court increased and he didn’t disappoint his coach. Cousins who is a former All-Star in the league made 15 points in 11 minutes of playing time. The reason why his usage saw an uptick in Game 5 is due to the injured Ivica Zubac.

Likewise, another Clippers’ player who earned more playing minutes is Marcus Morris Sr who made 22 points. Most of his damage was done in the first half where he scored 20 points and was one of the many reasons why Los Angeles controlled the game in its early stages.

Reggie Jackson continues to turn the heads of many fans, probably he’s looking for a massive contract next season. Jackson who will be an upcoming free agent chipped in with 23 points. His three-pointer and slam dunk finish were the daggers for Phoenix as they attempt for a comeback.

Devin Booker led the Suns with 31 points while Chris Paul added 22 markers. Phoenix will have another chance to knock out its Western Conference Finals opponent on Thursday as the series shifts back to Los Angeles for its Game 6.
