Here are the scores, updates, and results of 2021 Western Conference Finals Game 6 between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Suns which was played on July 1, 2021 (PHI time) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

After almost thirty years the Suns are back in the Finals after they defeated the Clippers right in front of their home fans, 130-103.

Chris Paul who spent 16 years in the NBA and put up work countless hours in the gym has finally reached the biggest stage of the league.

Paul was out in the first two games of the 2021 Western Conference Finals due to COVID-19 put up a show in Game 6. The number four pick in the 2005 NBA draft made a superb 41 points and eight assists. He also etched his name in the NBA history as the oldest player (at 36) to score at least 35 points in the Playoffs.

Devin Booker got his steady hands and chipped in with 22 markers while Deandre Ayton added another double-double performance of 16 points and 17 rebounds.

The last time the Phoenix Suns reached the NBA Finals was back in 1993 where Charles Barkley was their main man and was also named as the MVP that year.

Marcus Morris led Los Angeles with 26 points while Paul George had 21 points.

The Clippers had their chance to make a comeback where they closed the gap to a manageable lead. Yet, the visiting team was more determined to knock them down and don’t want to give their opponent a chance to gain a series momentum.

Phoenix will wait for the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Atlanta Hawks and the Milwaukee Bucks where their superstars are questionable to play after sustaining their respective injuries.
