Here are the scores, updates, and results of the NBA 2021-2022 Regular Season between the Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC) vs Chicago Bulls (CHI) on January 24, 2022 (All times are in Philippine Standard Time) at the Paycom Center.

The Chicago Bulls overcame the Thunder’s surge in the fourth quarter and ends up with the win.

All throughout the game, the Bulls were rocking the Thunder squad. At some point, the Bulls even had a commanding 28-point lead. A lead that can deflate a whole team. But because of the resiliency of Oklahoma, they managed to narrow up the lead by as low as one point at 108-107 with 14.8 seconds left off of a Giddey lay-up. They even put up 32 points against the Bulls’ 19 in the last quarter. Gilgeous-Alexander, unfortunately, missed a three-pointer that would have tied the contest with 2.3 seconds remaining on the game clock.

The Bulls came to the arena undermanned. They played without their star player DeMar DeRozan who took a rest. Ball was also not available due to a bruised left knee while Caruso has a fractured wrist. An injury Caruso got when Grayson Allen did a dirty play on him when he went for a lay-up at that game.

Oklahoma took advantage of this in the fourth quarter to help them with their comeback.

“Two of our primary ballhandlers in Lonzo and Alex are not here, and when you get into these situations in the fourth quarter where teams turn up the defensive pressure and pick up full court, you’ve got to be able to handle it,” Billy Donovan said.

Vucevic performed splendidly against the Thunder as he ended the game with 26 points and 15 rebounds. Not only that, but the big man also shot seven three-pointers and sank four of them while shooting 10-18 overall. LaVine added 23 points while Dosunmu had 24.

Gilgeous-Alexander led Oklahoma with their hopes of having a comeback. He scored 31 points and dished out ten assists while shooting 9-17 while Dort added 16 points.
