Here are the scores, updates, and results of the NBA 2021-2022 Regular Season between the Phoenix Suns (PHX) vs Utah Jazz (UTA) on January 24, 2022 (All times are in Philippine Standard Time) at the Footprint Center.

The Phoenix Suns extend their winning streak to seven as they go past the Utah Jazz with a final score of 115-109.

In the fourth quarter, Chris Paul went on fire as he kept on scoring and scoring against the opposing team, widening up the lead for his squad. The 36-year old veteran point guard played for 40 minutes and ended with 27 points (15 in the 4th), 14 assists, and nine boards, almost finishing the matchup with a triple-double.

“I feel good, I’m cool,” Paul said after the game. “I’ll hoop again tomorrow if you want to.”

Meanwhile, Booker put up a show in Phoenix as he went for another high-scoring game, tallying 33 points while shooting 14-35 from the field. However, the terrific guard of the Suns went 3-13 from outside the arc. Johnson added solid numbers as he scored 20 points and knocked down five three-point shots.

Utah now faces their second straight loss tonight and are still missing key players such as Mitchell, Conley, and others due to injuries. Clarkson stood up in this matchup for the Jazz squad and delivered 22 points. The Filipino descendant swished through three three-pointers to keep their hopes alive in the last remaining minutes of the contest, but it was not enough.

Almost all of the Jazz team scored two-digit outputs against the Suns. Forrest with 17, Whiteside with 10, House Jr. with 14, Gay with 13, Paschall with 14, and Butler with 13. Clarkson is not the only one who brought up great efforts, but the whole squad did. Unfortunately, it did not end up with a dub.

“We had a good start to the game and then we got a little comfortable,” Booker shared. “Those guys were ready to play. They took advantage of their opportunity, came out aggressive and confident. Once they got confidence, they were a little tougher to stop.”
