“The Greek Freak” tallied 44 huge points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists while shooting with extreme efficiency, only missing three of his 20 attempts from the field. On the defensive end, the Greek forward had two blocks and a steal.
Antetokounmpo recorded another 40-point game following their previous match against the Lakers where he scored 47 points.
Portis added 23 points and seven rebounds alongside their win while Middleton had 21 points.
At one point, the Bucks even had a commanding 30-point lead against the home team and even survived the strong surge of the Lakers late in the matchup. Overall, the reigning champions shot 54% on the floor.
LeBron James racked up 27 points and Anthony Davis scored 22 points in their losing efforts to the Bucks. Monk added 20 points for the team but was awful outside the three-point arc as he only managed to hit three of his ten looks from there.
Johnson scored 16 points off the bench while Reaves had 10.
The Lakers made a 20-5 run in the fourth quarter as they narrow up the huge lead of the opposing team to only ten points. However, Portis hits his fifth three-pointer and stopped the rally and the momentum of the Lakers. After that, the purple and gold never got closer again.
LA continues to struggle as they lose to the Bucks. They are now three matchups below the .500 mark as they lost five of their seven previous contests.
The Bucks improve to 35-21 as they win their last four games while the Lakers drop to 26-29.
