Davis led the Lakers with 30 points and 15 boards, ending the game with a huge double-double. Two of those rebounds were big offensive boards late in the contest when the scores by both teams were close. Carmelo Anthony was phenomenal against his former team as he scored 24 points on 8-12 shooting while coming off the bench. The veteran also sank down five of his six looks from outside the three-point arc. Westbrook showed off his versatility prowess while he is on the court. Although he did not manage to finish the game with a triple-double with only a point short and has struggled on his shooting all throughout the matchup, he still managed to rack up ten rebounds and dished out 13 dimes.
Norman Powell delivered a stellar performance for the Trail Blazers, scoring 30 points on 10-20 shooting. Eleven of those shots were from the three-point area where he knocked down five of them.
