Here are the scores, updates, and results of the NBA 2021-2022 Regular Season between the Los Angeles Lakers (LAL) vs Philadelphia 76ers on March 24, 2022 (All times are in Philippine Standard Time) at the Crypto.com Arena.

The Philadelphia 76ers move past the Los Angeles Lakers in the Crypto.com Arena with a final score of 126-121.

LeBron James was not able to join the Lakers squad against the Sixers since he is having sore knees. Because of this, we missed a potential matchup between the number one and the number two leading scorers of the league, namely, James and Embiid. “The King” is currently averaging 30.0 points a game while the skilled big man is scoring 29.8 points.

Embiid tallied 30 points in his pursuit of taking the scoring title by the end of the season. In addition, he also had 10 rebounds, ending the game with a double-double stat line, and three blocks on the defensive end. James Harden added 24 points, seven boards, and seven dimes, but was not able to sink most of his three-pointers as he went 1-6 from rainbow country.

Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris contributed greatly to the scoring production of Philadelphia. Maxey registered 21 points while Harris logged in 20 points in their win.

Los Angeles lost for the 11th time in their past 15 matchups and is now 11 games below the 500 mark with 31 wins and 42 losses. Dwight Howard posted a season-high 24 points while Malik Monk had 23 in the losing effort while coming off from the bench for the Lakers.

Talen Horton-Tucker was also not able to join their clash against Philadelphia due to a sprained left ankle.

Russell Westbrook had a superb performance against the Sixers, but it was not enough to break their losing momentum. Westbrook nearly chipped in another triple-double, scoring 24 points, racking up nine boards, and dishing out eight dimes. However, despite the big performance of the athletic guard, he also had seven costly turnovers.

The road team led by as much as 14 in the second half, but the home squad reduced it to only two points at 93-91 as they head to the fourth quarter. Maxey and Harris hit shots that brought their team back in control as the Lakers concentrated their defense on Philly’s big man, Embiid.

Carmelo Anthony aided his team to get back as they trailed the opposing team’s lead, knocking down tough fadeaways and hitting deflating three-pointers. At the end of the matchup, the veteran forward scored 20 points for LA.
