The Gilas Pilipinas are looking to bounce back after a crushing defeat against New Zealand in their most recent contest. The Philippines were down by 46 points by the end of the game at 60-106.
Back in February, the Filipinos first encountered India and beat them by 24 points.
In order for them to have an even 2-2 record as they close the third window, Gilas must beat India again in this upcoming matchup. However, they will be tested since not only they are coming from a deflating loss, but they are also going to be playing with only ten men.
Dave Ildefonso will not be joining the Philippine team due to a knee injury he suffered in their matchup against New Zealand. Carl Tamayo, who also had an injury, will still play against India for the Gilas squad.
We will only see Carl Tamayo, Rhenz Abando, Kevin Quiambao, Francis Lopez, Geo Chiu, RJ Abarrientos, SJ Belangel, Kiefer Ravena, Dwight Ramos, and William Navarro in their head-to-head match against India.
Gilas is currently 1-2 while India is still looking to earn their first win with a record of 0-3.
