Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup between the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Meralco Bolts scheduled on July 13, 2022, at 6:00 PM.

The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Meralco Bolts are going to have a showdown against each other this upcoming night. Ginebra is currently on the second spot in the standings list while Meralco has four wins and three losses and is looking to extend their winning streak.

The Gin-Kings and the Bolts are famous for their rivalry against each other in the Governors’ Cup. Both of the teams have already faced four times in the finals in the mentioned conference and all of them were won by Ginebra. This is the first time they will clash against each other since their big battle in the finals in the 2021 Governors’ Cup.

Gienbra is looking to bounce back after their defeat against the TNT Tropang Giga in their last match. They got outscored in every quarter and lost at the end of the game.

Most of the scores came from the starters of Ginebra. Aguilar had 18 points, ten of his points came from the charity stripe shot while Standhardinger had 15 points and 12 boards. Tenorio added 15 points and seven assists while Tolentino had 14 points. Thompson registered 13 points, eight rebounds, and seven dimes against the Tropang Giga.

Moreover, the second unit of Ginebra only tallied 17 total points against TNT.

Meanwhile, Aaron Black led the Bolts to win against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in their previous game. Not only that, but he also had six assists and four rebounds.

Just like the Gin-Kings, Meralco also had their points logged in mostly by the starting cast. Maliksi had 19 points against the Elasto Painters while Hodge added 13 points and three steals. Almazan had ten points, 15 rebounds, and three blocks while Newsome, who went poorly on his shots as he converted only three of his 14 tries, had seven points on Rain or Shine.

In addition, all five starters played for more than 30 minutes in their contest against Rain or Shine. The bench produced only eight points for the squad.
