Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup between the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots and the Blackwater Bossing scheduled on July 22, 2022, at 6:00 PM.

The Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots and the Blackwater Bossing are the teams that are going to have the last competition in the elimination round of the conference. Magnolia is looking to tie the Gin-Kings at the number three spot in the standings category with seven wins and three losses alongside an excellent six-game winning streak while Blackwater, who had an outstanding run at the start of the conference, is now trying to mend a four-game winning slump with five dubs and five defeats.

Blackwater received their fifth loss in their contest against the Converge FiberXers, the newest competitor in the league. Within that game, the Bossings had a nine-point lead against the FiberXers at one point in the matchup but blew it.

They also had control in the second period and in the third period where they outscored Converge in both quarters. However, they were not able to maintain this and ended up with a defeat.

Ganuelas-Rosser had 20 points and 12 boards against the FiberXers while hitting six of his 12 attempts. Casio had 16 points and three assists while Amer and Suerte added 26 combined points.

Meanwhile, Magnolia added another blowout win against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, building up a lead that stacked by as much as 31 points.

Jio Jalalon led the team with a triple-double performance against Rain or Shine, chalking up 16 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds on 8-15 shooting. Not only that, but he also had four steals on the defensive end for Magnolia. In addition, he became the second player to record this notable stat line alongside San Miguel’s CJ Perez within the current conference.

Ahanmisi added 19 points as he came off from the bench while Abueva had 13 points. Both Sangalang and Barroca ended with 12 points while Corpuz and Lee both finished with 11 points.
