Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup between the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots and the Meralco Bolts scheduled on July 15, 2022, at 6:00 PM.

The Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots and the Meralco Bolts are going to clash on each other this approaching evening. Magnolia is sitting at the fifth spot of the standings category with five wins and three losses while Meralco is just behind at the sixth seat with five dubs and three falls also.

Magnolia triumphed over the underperforming TerraFirma Dyip in their recent game and had a commanding 38-point winning margin against them at one point of the contest.

The Hotshots had a firm first half against TerraFirma, scoring 33 points and 31 points in the first period and second period, respectively, while limiting the Dyip squad below 20 points in both quarters.

They maintained their outscoring momentum in the succeeding quarters except in the fourth where they only logged in 21 points against the Dyip’s 32 points, but this was not sufficient to bring them down.

Sangalang, who played for 20 minutes for the Hotshots, had 20 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and a block while converting eight of his ten shots on the floor. Jalalon chalked up a near triple-double output against TerraFirma, scoring 17 points, dishing out seven assists, and racking up six boards. Paul Lee added 17 points while Laput had ten points as both players come from the secondary cast.

Meanwhile, the Bolts had a big win against their rival, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. They were able to start off with a 51-point first half while limiting the Gin-Kings to only tally 33 points against them. They continued their lead up until the last buzzer sounded off, earning their second-straight victory.

Chris Newsome led Meralco with 19 points, seven rebounds, and four dimes. On the other end, he had two steals against Ginebra while Hodge maintains his versatility on the court offensively and defensively as he registered 14 points, eight rebounds, four big blocks, and two steals.

Banchero added 17 points as a second unit while Quinto had ten points. Almazan, who struggled on his shots against Ginebra, finished with six points on 3-12 shooting but took care of the rebounding for the squad as he collected 15 boards. Not only that, but he also blocked two shots.

In addition to their win, they also held a 22-point lead against the 2021 Governors’ Cup champions.
