The Blackwater Bossing and the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters are going to have a head-to-head match this afternoon. The Bossing squad is coming off from a tightly contested matchup against the Meralco Bolts where they triumphed at the end of the game. Baser Amer, who had six points while having a poor shooting night against Meralco, delivered the game-winning shot against his former team.
Renato “Ato” Ular, Blackwater’s rookie, had an outstanding performance against the Bolts, racking up 19 points and 15 rebounds on 7-13 shooting. Not only that, but this performance was one of the reasons why he was awarded the Player of the Week award. Ular is the first rookie to earn this award in this season.
Casio added 19 points, six assists, and four boards against Meralco while Suerte had 15 points.
