Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup between the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters and the NorthPort Batang Pier scheduled on July 14, 2022, at 7:15 PM.

The Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters and the NorthPort Batang Pier are going to have a battle against each other this upcoming night. Both teams are located deep in the standings list and are currently on a long-losing slump. Northport has two wins and six losses, ending their six past games with a loss while Phoenix also has two dubs and six defeats alongside a four-game losing streak.

The Fuel Masters got their hearts broken by the lethal dagger shot by Baser Amer that secured the game for his team, the Blackwater Bossing, resulting in a loss for Phoenix. Even though they had a commanding 12-point winning difference against Blackwater, they still got triumphed over by the Bossing squad at the end of the contest.

Jason Perkins led the Fuel Masters with 22 points and eight boards on 8-17 shooting while Wright, who despite struggling for most of the game, had big plays for the team in the last minutes of the match against Blackwater. Wright had 15 points and eight dishes in the losing effort but went poorly on his looks, converting only four of his 17 tries and also turning over five possessions.

Tio added 15 points also while Lalata, who came off from the bench, had ten points for Phoenix.

NorthPort is looking to bounce back after a defeat against the Converge FiberXers in their recent match. The Batang Pier had a slow start in the first quarter, logging in only 12 total points in that quarter alone against Converge’s 21 points.

They were not able to make up for their low-scoring quarter in the following periods except in the fourth where they scored 31 points and held the other group to only score 25 points. However, this effort was not enough to win over the FiberXers.

Kevin Ferrer, who came as a second unit for NorthPort, had 21 points while Santos tallied 20 points, 12 boards, and three blocks against Converge on 8-13 shooting.

While the absence of Robert Bolick, the outstanding guard of NorthPort, is still continuing due to an ankle injury, Roi Sumang carries on to fill in his shoes as a starting playmaker guard for the Batang Pier. “Super Sumang” was able to drop 15 points, eight assists, six boards, and two steals against the FiberXers. Malonzo added 13 points and ten rebounds for the team.
