“The Kraken” was unleashed in this contest, converting glamorous hook shots in the paint and constantly crushing his defenders. At the end of the match, Fajardo tallied 30 points, 16 boards, and a block on 12-19 shooting, finishing the game with a big double-double performance.

The six-time MVP was not the only one who had great outputs against the Tropang Giga, but Jericho Cruz as well, a Beermen who has been superb for San Miguel all throughout the Philippine Cup. As he came off as a second unit, he logged in 30 points, three boards, two dishes, and three shots within the three-point territory on TNT.

Perez added 12 points and ten dimes while Brondial ended with 12 points and grabbed 18 boards. Enciso had 16 points while splashing down four of his seven looks from beyond the three-point arc.

Meanwhile, Blackwater has been a sensation ever since the conference began. They have won their past two contests off of two game-winning shots by Baser Amer.

Renato “Ato” Ular has caught the basketball community’s attention as he recorded a phenomenal game against the Fuel Masters after earning the Player of the Week Award as the first rookie to do so this season. The Bossing forward registered 34 big points and ten boards on 15-21 shooting, five of those tries were the from three-point land where he knocked down three of them. His skills as a forward will be tested against the big-men-packed San Miguel.

Ganuelas-Rosser added 16 points from the bench while Amer, who landed the win-securing shot against Phoenix, finished with nine points and four rebounds.
